Fun times

Today, after I took the Thomason's home, we went to the aquarium.  The kids just love it there.  James asks everyday is we can go.  He took a little nap as we drove, and that was fabulous!  When we walked in Isabelle said she REALLY needed to go potty, so I told her that the bathroom was just around the corner, to go and I'd hurry in and meet her.  So, off she went.  I was already talking to the ticket lady, and James was holing on to my dress when she went around the corning.  The ticket lady handed me my tickets, and before I could put them in my purse I look around and James had stepped onto the elevator and the it was going up.  The ticket lady said, "I'll run upstairs and get him, you go get your daughter".  So, with a little in trepidation, I ran into the ladies room and told Isa to hurry, we had to go find James.  She rushed out of there with me, and we saw the ticket lady leading James out of the elevator.  OH MY GOODNESS.  We had a long talk about staying with Mommy.

The kids loved the big map of the United states and ocean and lakes.  They like to see the otters, and our favorite spot is a little beach area where they have live birds, and the water is clear.  You can spot many types of fish there, and we like to watch them play and chase each other.  Today we got to see the mermaids doing their show in the big tanks with the fish.  They played "under the sea" from the Little Mermaid, and the kids danced and danced.  It was so much fun to watch my little ones dancing to that song, and the mermaids were pretty cool too.  We made it to the end of the tiger show, so they got to see the tiger too.  Oh my kids are perfect.  They got an airbursh "face paint" on their arms, and petted the rays.  We got our soda, and went to visit a play area we hadn't seen before.  They had a great time climbing on the apparatuses that looked like sea animals.  A boy, probably 8 or 9 years old ran right up to Isabelle when he saw her and said, "Hey, you chase me ok?"  He ran while she chased, and he kept changing the rules as they went so where ever he got tired, was automatically safe.  Isabelle played for awhile, then she got the 2 girls that were there and convinced them to play games she made up.  It was cute.  I gathered them up, and off we went to the 4D theater.  they always have a great time at the aquarium.

Denver Zoo

Today we went on a family outing to the Denver Zoo.  Bobby actually took the holiday!!!  He usually works on holidays, but today we all went to the Zoo.  We took Kirsten with us, and had a great time.  We only saw 1/3 of the zoo, so we will be going back.  We loved the lions, the birds, and the bears.  They were thrilled with the train and carousel.  We didn't get to see the apes, though we looked and looked and looked.  We did catch a turtle show, and got to follow some geese and their goslings.  It was a fun time had by all.
She wouldn't ride the ones that actually moved up and down.

They fought over who sat on the ape.
He thought this was the best map ever!

My cute little crew all ready to explore.

Bobby spent alot of time doing this move.

She really wanted to see the lions and the kangaroos.

"Look Kirsten, here we are."

Love you Kirsten
He was so good.  Ran around and having a great time.  He found the water spickets and turned them on, he found holes in the fences to try to climb through.  Go little Jimmy Joe.

Chucky Cheese

We had a family outing to Chucky Cheese.  It was lots of fun, except for the noise, and all the chaos.  The kids LOVE to play the games, and run around.  James love pizza, and Isabelle likes to show the appearance of pizza, but eat the celery.  I'm glad they have a salad bar.  Bobby did a great job running around with the kids, and generally being Dad of the Year.  I got to sit down and meet a wonderful woman from Egypt.  Her name is Lyla, and she is really, a sweet, wonderful person.  When I get back from my trip to Idaho to visit Jana and Jessica, I'm going to call her.  I had a great time, and the kids won tickets enough to get a beautiful pink extra large ring for isabelle and vampire teeth for James.  Isabelle now has pink vampire teeth, and James green.

Last Day

Today was the last day in palm springs. I have finished the good parts of Les Miserables, and read the Book of Mormon to get ready for conference.   I had a great time seeing the sights.  We went to the fine art museum. I liked the giraffe.  As I was waiting for lunch a man tried to abscond with me.  He and his friend were there just to golf, and he wanted to take me with him.  I told him I was meeting my husband for lunch, and although I did enjoy golf, I would wait for my husband to go with me.  He decided that was ok, and left.  Bobby came; We ate lunch, and walked around together.  We checked out, and made our flight on time.  I was sooooo excited to get my babies, and be back home all safe and sound.  They are the most beautiful sight in the world.

4H Carnival

Today this morning was fun.  We went to the 4H carnival.  Ethan and Joslyn were selling tickets for raffle and Bev invited us to come with them.  They had a great time riding the bull ride, golfing, throwing wet sponges at Daddy, roping, visiting the petting zoo, bowling, cake walk, and any other carnival game they could find.  There was a CRAZY amount of booths.  There was even a bounce house.  We won a raffle prize, and they got toys and candy galore!
Ride that Bull.  Isabelle got to ride too.

Aquarium Day

We got to go back to the aquarium and take Kirsten.  I had a 2, a 3, and a 4 year old at the aquarium.  They did a great job, and we had a good time.  Isabelle got to feed a fish that spits water at the insects, knocking them into the water so they can eat them.  She was a little nervous, but loved it.  The other kids didn't want to pet the rays, or feed them, but they all got a face painting, and soda.  They all loved the 4D ride, and the otters.  Another fun day at the Aquarium.
